Joining ''Army of the Shenandoah'' 101

This is a simple step by step guide that should help and advice you on what you have to do to successfully join "Army of the Shenandoah ":

Read the Game Information that gives you an overview about "Army of the Shenandoah ".
Read the Sign up & Character Creation information as it explains all the do's and don'ts that you have to take into account during the character creation process in "Army of the Shenandoah ".
Thoroughly read and pay attention to the Rules for Character Name Selection because your forum username will also function as your characters name in "Army of the Shenandoah ".
Always provide a VALID e-mail address when you register your new account, as you will receive a validation e-mail from our staff prior to the account activation.
Create your forum account and fill out the form.
Be sure to select a VALID username in accordance with the Rules for Character Name Selection or you registration will be declined and you will not be accepted as new member.
Wait for the validation e-mail from the "Army of the Shenandoah " staff.
Reply to the validation e-mail you've received from our "Army of the Shenandoah " staff, to prove that your account wasn't created automatically by a bot.
Wait until your account is activated (you'll get notified about this by e-mail as well).
Have a lot of fun role-playing with us in a 19th Century world!

Please note the following rules before joining, as they revolve about some very important points and requirements for having an account and keeping this account:

role-playing activities are now considered a key requirement for having an account and being a member of the game
inactive accounts of notoriously inactive players, that can't be bothered to join any RP activities, will be removed
All new members will be put on a "probation period" to separate the proverbial wheat from the chaff early on
If someone shows no interest and doesn't join any RP activities one warning shall be given, in case nothing changes the account will be removed without any further notice
Whenever possible the LOA/RAL thread must be used to inform everyone of busy RL schedules (so f.e. actions can be taken to cover for any IC work waiting to be done and/or the need for moderators to take over one of the participants characters to keep the scenario running)
